After many years, there
are some constant themes that parents, especially new ones, find helpful
to review.
-
When
you child is cranky, take his/her temperature. Touching the forehead does
not define a fever. Electronic
thermometers are easier to use with a fussy squirming child than the
older glass ones. Inexpensive thermometers are found at all
drugstores. Do not use the tape thermometer or the ear.
